Kartar pur

Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, commonly known as Kartarpur Sahib, is a highly revered Gurdwara (Sikh temple) located in Kartarpur, Narowal District, Punjab, Pakistan.

Historical Significance:

Kartarpur Sahib is the final resting place of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. In 1522, Guru Nanak Dev Ji settled in Kartarpur and spent the last 18 years of his life here. He established the first Sikh community and began the Langar (community kitchen) tradition.

Gurdwara Complex:

The Gurdwara complex is situated on a 42-acre site, surrounded by a boundary wall. The main Gurdwara building is a stunning example of Sikh architecture, with a mix of Mughal and Rajput styles.
